Gas going up a flare — pipeline full, or no pipeline at all — is gas we'll meter and pay for. We consume it right on the pad, with a generator and an equipment container, and host computing equipment on the power it makes.
For gas operatorsIf you're flaring gas in the Rocky Mountain region — Wyoming, Montana, or Colorado — because the gathering system is full or there's no connection, we're a buyer sized for wells the big flare-mitigation outfits turn away. Shut-in and marginal wells with real deliverability fit too. The gas is metered and papered properly, and the arrangement runs without requiring anything day-to-day from you.
Basin Joules LLC is a small, privately funded Colorado company building its first sites in the Rocky Mountain basins. We host computing equipment — our tenants own their machines; we run the power and the facility. Every well we approach is verified first against state production records and satellite flare data — we only pursue gas that's really flowing.
Email works best. If you operate a well that might fit, we'd like to hear about it.
